‘Tis the Season for Giving

Here are AIN volunteers Areta and Russell Crowell at San Marino Community Church’s Mission Market. Be sure to visit AIN’s table if your congregation includes us in your market. If not, you can go to the website and make a donation as a gift for friends or family http://angelinterfaith.net/donate.html. Then print a card to let them know about your gift.http://angelinterfaith.net/occasion.html.

Mitzvah Ministries, which includes Glendora Sewing Guild, Temple Beth Israel in Pomona, Claremont Presbyterian Church and Claremont United Church of Christ, held their annual joint baby shower for AIN. Anne and Elaine collaborate on beautiful quilts. Leno, who was born at County Hospital “many years ago”, weighing only three pounds, now uses his woodworking talents to make lamps and bookends which he donates to AIN .

Thanks to all who were part of our annual HARVEST OF LOVE. We don’t have a final tally yet, but your generosity and creativity is on track to surpass last year’s total.

And a Happy New Year!

Is this the year that you automate your support of Angel Interfaith Network? Become a Sustaining Angel and support this work all year long. http://www.angelinterfaith.net/sustainers.html . Those We Serve All Year Long

Cindy is the sole provider for her family of five. When her youngest daughter was hospitalized, Cindy was by her side, but missed work, endangering the family’s fragile hold on their finances. Her social worker requested food certificates, pampers and shoes for two of the children. We were glad to be able to help.

Federico was assaulted and robbed with the family’s rent money in his wallet. He was unable to return to work right away and he, his pregnant wife, and their toddler faced eviction. Angel Interfaith Network was able to provide a small amount to keep them in their home until Federico was able to return to work.

Joy to You at the Holidays and Throughout the Coming Year
